Last Weekend.

Bunny & I went to catch Watchmen last week. Watchmen was a big question mark, seriously. Probably gotta read the comics first to better understand the story, if not it's really hard to comprehend the plot.

Hit the beach w Grace, Breeze & Phoebe on Friday. It rained really heavily when we were there and we were stuck in the pavilion for almost an hour before the rain finally subsided. Not the best beach outing but I still had a great time with the cute lil bitches. Gosh, I love them!

We gave Jackvic a Nike bag last year for army use and this year, we got him a small Porter bag for after-ORD use. It's really amazing how time passes by so quickly man. It's really true how your age seems to catch up on you faster than ever when you're above 21.

All of us went to play Left 4 Dead at some lan shop at Concorde Hotel for 4 hours straight after dinner. Haha. Act young eh? Go lan gaming. Lol. Oh well... and I tried to act even younger by meeting my sec sch mates for supper at Simpang after that when I was already god damn tired.

Anyways, I just got home awhile ago from movie & supper. Push was rather interesting, I must say. The plot was rather good except that it was a little draggy. Anyhow I'll still rate it a 7.5 outta 10.

Argh. I can't wait for my boyfriend to ORD. September 2009, would you hurry? :(

Just When I'm Free/In the Mood To Blog,

I've been trying to blog some photos for the past few hours but the Upload Image doesn't work. I give up. I am going to bed.

Unlucky.

I just found out that there'll be THREE Friday the 13th(s) this year. One in Feb, one coming up this week, and the other in November.

Must be a suay year ahead. Just got the info from Setoh that he can't book out tonight. Might not be able to see him for more than a week. Argh :(

I swear to keep off spicy food & sashimi for awhile. I had so much of them over the 4th monthsary weekend and my stomach isn't too happy with me right now. :(

But anyhow, things haven't been exactly easy but we still made it to our 4th month. Well, there'll definitely be many more months and years to come! Oh anyway, there's so many parties to attend this week. I am starting to feel young again. :)

Fun or Not?

Phuture on Saturday + Zirca Superstar on Sunday was a complete waste of money. Apparently, clubbing isn't really my thang anymore. For most people, it's fun when you're aged 18-20. And it gets a little boring when you're 21-24. And completely boring when you're any older than that. I guess it really comes with age.

Helped Grace at her pet shop on Tuesday cuz she's short-handed. I don't know what came over me man... being so kind and all. I only had 4 hours of sleep, and I cabbed to AMK and groomed dogs for 7 hours straight. If not for how cute the dogs were, I would've punched Grace in the face and went home to sleep. Hahaha just kidding girl. You know I love you :)

Harie invited(forced) us to play Citadels at his place after that. Most of us were noobs so the game proceeded reeeeally slowly. And because we're trying to act young, we went to h.i.g.h @ east coast road to play Left 4 Dead till 3am. Quite fun!

Oh. My dad just gave me a Cathay Movie Pass which admits only ONE. Nice.

I was chilling out with some sec school mates over at Simpang just now and Nic, Edmund & I started army talking and we couldn't stop. For someone who needn't serve NS at all, I think I'm rather superb at army talk.

Coming to think of it, we've been friends for 8 years now. We've become so much older to the point we're even receiving the GST offset package. $200 ka ch$ng!

Yesterday Today

Everyone wished me luck for my interview at Evolve MMA today, but I'm afraid to say that I might not get the position. I fumbled and stuttered a bit in the interview when out of this world questions were thrown at me. That was by far, the most mentally challenging interview I've ever been to man.

Finally met up for dinner with Nigel who just returned from Taiwan on Tues. We had some substandard dessert at Heeren, followed by macfries overload. What a lousy meal, honestly. But the bitchy company makes up for everything. Xoxo my dear friend! :)

Anyways, we talked about a certain past event today, and that spurred me on to upload this photo of us. So here's to you, my best friend! Don't start on how revolting we looked cuz trust me, WE KNOW.

Lifetime Ahead

I was in such a foul mood just now but you never stopped trying to cheer me up. I was just frustrated that you can't be here, being childish about everything, and being idiotic on purpose but you didn't get irritated at all. In fact, I'm amazed at your patience. Now that I've snapped out of that pms-y mood, I'm smiling at your sweet smses and thinking that I should've swallowed all that stupid attitude. Thank you, my darling.

I'm Just Saying.

I got bored and wanted a new layout. I've changed my mind but I can't seem to switch it back! Blogger says that they're unable to complete my request. Eh what? Yeah and since I can't make up my mind on a final layout, I shall just make the best out of the default ones.

Anyway, I was involved in a small discussion regarding inner thoughts and real opinion some time back. Never knew that whatever I got to know would haunt me like that. I've always told myself not to judge/scrutinize people but whenever I'm involved with matters in the said discussion, I can't help but feel so afraid that things would really go awry one day. Well, I really believe letting it go, and being forgiving would help. If it doesn't, grow up!
Just saying.

By the way, I'm suddenly reminded of the time when I was scrutinized by colleagues whom I deemed as good friends. I fell victim to their vicious tongues. That was really unkind and it sucks to be stabbed by people you trust. Hmmm. I would not stoop so low as to create a bitchfight/argument because.. like I said, I really think that absolutely nothing would've happened if people could just let it go and be forgiving. Otherwise, they should just stop deluding themselves and grow up. Nothing I said here is meant to offend. Am just saying!

Then again, perhaps some people need to understand me more if friends was really all that is worth.

We'll Make the Most of It

And so..... over the weekend, I watched Slumdog Millionaire with the slutty girls. Haha! A good show but the book is a lot better.

And for V day, we went to The Jurong Hilltop to have teppanyaki with his parents. Of which, I only took ONE picture cuz I was lazy. And this is the ugly picture I took from where I stood ->

Food was a lil pricey but absolutely scrumptious! Better to make reservations if you dine there.

And on Monday, we headed to Singapore Botanic Gardens for a birthday picnic. Bad choice, cuz the sun was scorching. I felt so heated and annoyed but I had to endure it cuz it's my boy's birthday! Gah. The torment. Lol. But it was worth it :)We headed back home early after that to catch Into The Wild (2007), a movie based on a true story. Really interesting, inspiring & rather touching. It's really fantastic how someone would abandon his life and start afresh with absolute NOTHING (money, car, identity card etc.).

In the novel, it is written that he did feel scared and lonely, but he still managed to brave almost 2 years living in the wilderness/random places without his family and friends. I don't think I'd manage to last 2 days, much less 2 years!


The girls in my family headed to Ellenborough Cafe @ Swissotel Merchant Court just now to celebrate my sister's birthday. The durian pengat was FREAKING ORGASMIC I TELL YOU. The durian was so fresh. The texture, the taste... omg no wonder that dessert is so popular. I totally recommend it!

Been busy the whole week. From cny visiting, to clubbing sessions, to mahjong session, to stayovers, to outings, and to top it off, bbq at simon's place. So bloody tired balls!

Friday:

I went to Niven's place to visit & we hung out in front of the tv for a bit. Then cabbed to Titus's place for 2 rounds of overnight mahjong, of which I drew. Titus lost big! Bad year to gamble lah, Tits!


Thursday:

Headed to dinner with Hun at EHub, then I sent him off to saf ferry terminal. Our last meet-up before his 6-day outfield with his men. Hope he's doing okay trudging around in the forest!

Wednesday:

Headed to town with my darling sister. We had sooooooo much to eat at Thai Express, Heeren! Then another round at Mama's Carribean @ Clarke Quay. Their chips was so gooood!

Rebel's baggage deposit was closed that night (like wtf????), so we headed off to Phuture to meet Gerald & Gerrard, of whom signed us both in. Danced our asses off and went home aching from all the exercise. Hahaha!

Tuesday, CNY Day 2:

Went to visit Hun's place. He booked in thereafter & I went to my aunt's place off Woo Mon Chew Rd to gamble my night away! I won $ of course. ;) Been losing every year, it's high time I won.

Monday, CNY Day 1:

Lotsa travelling. And the scorching weather didn't help. I hate to perspire in new clothes!!
Met the fab gang for the last Fabulous @ Powerhouse.

Last Friday, 23rd Jan:

Uncle Setoh's birthday. He drove us all to 7th Storey Restaurant @ Marina Barrage for dinner. Everything's so overpriced and there weren't much selection. Food wasn't all that tasty too. Bad bad choice. Well, it was quite an experience!
